LOS ANGELES (AP) – A judge has dismissed all claims against Riverside County in a lawsuit by a camp ranger who argued he should have received the $1 million reward for apprehending rogue ex-Los Angeles police Officer Christopher Dorner.

Attorney Kirk Hallam, who represents Riverside County in the case, says Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth White ruled Friday the county had a right to honor the decisions of a three-judge panel to determine who should receive their $100,000 portion of the reward money.

The panel split the multi-agency $1 million reward among four people – excluding camp ranger Rick Heltebrake, who was carjacked by Dorner in the final hours of the manhunt. An attorney representing Heltebrake did not immediately provide comment.

Authorities say Dorner killed four people during a days-long rampage in February.
